In the month of July 2018, 21-year-old Sunith Rao embarked on a 2 month long flying trip to Italy, Spain & Macedonia his father’s blessings and mine. In the Gin Wide Open, he came away with the first place in the leisure class making the Fly Nirvana family proud and his hosts Nicky Moss and Geordie Pensalo of FlyAger very happy. 

Sunith had a great start in the comp as he finished with a joint first with Gin team pilots Richard Bungay and Yuki Sato on the practice task , but …..

It was a convergence of friends old and new; paragliding pilots, surfers, entrepreneurs, adventurers and thousands of fireflies came together to celebrate Nirvana Adventure’s 20th Anniversary paragliding season end. Local drums got us all into a dancing frenzy, while the myriad fireflies lit up the trees around.

Now on a holiday in India with friends from NZ Sinchan organised for all of them to sign up for an Elementary Pilot Course. His close friends from Mumbai joined in too. NZ friends Miky, Arjun and Sean loved the paragliding course and had a lot of good things to say about it.
