Paragliding into the New Year with Nirvana Adventures
Bringing in the New Year on a high, quite literally, was on the agenda for 2017. We made our way to Fly Nirvana early on Saturday morning with Tower Hill in our sights. The usual suspects gathered at Tower hill and monkeyed around while we waited for the right moment to take off.
And it wasn’t just the adults excited to fly. The youngest member of the Nirvana family was one of the first to take off. And his enthusiasm was definitely infectious!
We couldn’t wait anymore and what better way to end the year than soaring above Tower Hill and the town of Kamshet. And after watching the tandems do their thing, it was take-off time. And I couldn’t wait to soar in my brand new BGD Wasp (yay!)
Day 365 of 2016 ended with sunset yoga by the lake. The residents of Native Place trooped down for a yoga session before the festivities of the night began. (You must definitely give it a shot!)
The party started soon after with friends and family heading to the rooftop and bringing in the new year by the campfire. The weather making a perfect setting for a warm and cozy bonfire.
2017 began with a mad game of hide and seek (which Native Place is the perfect setting for) and lagori! The 11 year old in the house made sure we digested our breakfast before gorging on lunch. Afternoon called us back to Tower Hill, this time at the West Face though (new year, new direction?).
Dinesh inaugurated his new tandem with daughter Lina. The BGD Dual stood out bright and shiny against the evening sky.
The beginning of 2017 left us all grinning and bunch of happy pilots from Fly Nirvana. We can’t wait to see what the new year brings our way. But in the meantime, here’s wishing you a Happy New Year and “Peace, Bliss and Happy Landings!”
