Nirvana Adventures & Paragliding gets featured in Spice Route (Spice Jet’s Mag )

My first taste of free flight came in the form of Bunny Hops. A series of low short duration flights. launching forward my feet left the ground for the first time and i couldn’t believe how easy and exhilarating it was to fly all on my own.

Nirvana Adventures End of Paragliding Season Party – June 2018

It was a convergence of friends old and new; paragliding pilots, surfers, entrepreneurs, adventurers and thousands of fireflies came together to celebrate Nirvana Adventure’s 20th Anniversary paragliding season end. Local drums got us all into a dancing frenzy, while the myriad fireflies lit up the trees around.

Now on a holiday in India with friends from NZ Sinchan organised for all of them to sign up for an Elementary Pilot Course. His close friends from Mumbai joined in too. NZ friends Miky, Arjun and Sean loved the paragliding course and had a lot of good things to say about it. As did Sonal Sharma, Manan Vora  and  Avik Das.

Shelar and Sunsets

Shelar and Sunsets

mid-week flying is definitely something I’ll recommend and it goes on the top of the list of best times to visit Fly Nirvana. And honestly if I had to choose between the madness of the holiday season vs the quiet mid-week solitude, I would pick both. Why choose when you can have the best of both? 🙂

Happy New Year from all of us at Nirvana Paragliding, Kamshet

Happy New Year from all of us at Nirvana Paragliding, Kamshet

Ushering in the New Year with these folks and the Nirvana family may just have been the best decision I made this year. Barbecue and Bonfires were flavors of the night. Being back in the air had me grinning from ear to ear when I realized what I had been missing and how much. Soaring through clear blue skies and watching the sun set from your glider has a joy that can’t be described. And happy landings just add to that post-flight glow.

Sunith Rao logs a hundred paragliding hours

Nirvana Adventures is proud to announce that our very own Sunith Rao completed a hundred hours of flying on Wednesday the 1st of April 2015. Sunith started ground handling at the age of 10 and did his first solo at the age of 14. He now has more than 200 solos and 100+ hours of airtime. Only last week he left the ridge on his own to fly back home from the Shelar site – a short but by no means simple 4 km XC surprising the staff at Native Place as he walked into the house with a triumphant grin.
