Celebrating Holi & Paragliding with Nirvana Adventures

Celebrating Holi & Paragliding with Nirvana Adventures

Holi at Native Place and Nirvana Adventures was a treat – lots of colour , excitement, running chasing, splashing and squealing and hosing down . The weather was another story all together. The winds turned east n the morning and we scrambled back to Shinde tekdi with the Elementary Pilot Paragliding students where things went on quite well.

Shelar and Sunsets

mid-week flying is definitely something I’ll recommend and it goes on the top of the list of best times to visit Fly Nirvana. And honestly if I had to choose between the madness of the holiday season vs the quiet mid-week solitude, I would pick both. Why choose when you can have the best of both? 🙂

Nirvana End of Paragliding Season & firefly watch – May 2015

Para-pirate MayuraWhen we weren’t monkeying around there was some super flying [...]
Parawaiting Pros

Parawaiting Pros

While I’ve been at Native Place, I’ve realized that one thing I’ve definitely become a pro at, is parawaiting. And of course some people are better at it than others. New games, new friendships and lots of mad new ideas are born out of parawaiting. Although we are not flying, it can be a lot [...]
When you wish upon a star…

When you wish upon a star…

Native Place was abuzz with activity last weekend as everyone gathered on the terrace for a glimpse of shooting stars. And we weren’t disappointed. Friday night we saw atleast 2 stars each (and those drinking Old Monk saw a few more of course) with a cumulative total of 12 different stars seen. The Geminids continued [...]
Gung Ho for Groundhandling

Gung Ho for Groundhandling

It’s time to go back to the basics. And to watch the pros at it, is even more fun. Between them, these pilots probably have over 70 years of flying experience. But when they decided to make a day of groundhandling, it was with all the gusto that beginners have for first flights (it was [...]
